How it works

Step by step

Four steps, told on one house.

Holiday decorating sends about 14,900 people to the emergency room each season, and nearly half of those injuries are falls. U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission

Your season with us

What you can count on

Your price, confirmed first

We confirm your exact price by text from your photos before any work begins. Nothing is due until you’ve picked a date.

Tall homes, done safely

We bring the ladders, and a lift for tall homes, so nobody in your family has to climb.

Looked after all season

If something stops working, text (719) 641-3523 and tell us what you see.

Down after the holidays

Takedown is part of your price. The lights are yours to keep, so next year costs less.

HOA dates

We plan around your HOA.

Many HOAs set dates for holiday lights. Banning Lewis Ranch, for example, allows them from October 15 to January 31 without approval, and Gleneagle from after Thanksgiving until February 1. Add your HOA’s dates in the note when you get your quote, or share them when we text you.

Questions

Good to know

How do you price a house?

By the length of your front roofline, the trees and bushes you want lit, and how steep the roof is: about $3.95 a foot of roofline to hang ($485 minimum), $1.10 a foot for new lights you keep, about $210 a tree and $24 a bush, and 25% more for steep roofs. Small homes start around $530. The quote shows your range right away, and we confirm your exact price from your photos before any work begins.

What about my HOA’s rules?

Many HOAs set dates for holiday lights. Banning Lewis Ranch, for example, allows them from October 15 to January 31 without approval, and Gleneagle from after Thanksgiving until February 1. Share your HOA’s dates when we text you and we’ll plan around them.

Do you need to come out to give me a price?

No. Answer the five questions, then send two or three photos of your roofline. We confirm your price by text.

How do payments work?

Three parts. A deposit that covers your lights and part of the labor, half the labor at installation, and the rest at takedown. Nothing is due until we’ve confirmed your exact price and you’ve picked a date.

Do I keep the lights?

Yes. The lights are yours, so hanging them again next year costs less.

Can you hang lights I already own?

Yes. Choose “I already own lights” in the quote and you pay labor only, from $485. Tell us what you have when we text you.

When do you take the lights down?

After the holidays. Takedown is part of your price, and the last payment is due then.

What if something stops working?

Maintenance through the season is part of the service. Text us at (719) 641-3523 and tell us what you see.

Can you do steep or two-story roofs?

Yes. Steep roofs take longer and more care, so they cost a little more. If you’re not sure, leave “Steep roof” off and we check from your photos.

Do you work in my town?

We work along the Front Range from Colorado Springs and Monument up to Denver, including the towns along I-25 in between. Not sure about yours? Text us your town at (719) 641-3523.

Do you light businesses and events?

Yes. Storefronts, offices and special events like birthdays and weddings. Request a commercial quote.
