Lighting in Broadmoor
The resort’s White Lights Ceremony marked 36 years in 2021, with 18,000 strands hung across the property. The Broadmoor says it’s covered in millions of lights from November, and its outdoor white lights stay up until March 1.

Cheyenne Mountain makes its own weather. A 105 mph gust was recorded at Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station on December 2, 2022, and 101 mph there on January 9, 2017. Lights on the mountain side of town have to be fastened well, and maintenance through the season is part of your price.
